Clare Fraser
Managing Director, Strategic Planning

Clare Fraser, managing director of strategy, is responsible for driving Omgeo’s five year strategy, identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships and entrenching the Omgeo brand across asset classes, client segments and new markets. She oversees the global marketing function, while providing strategic direction on the firm’s business worldwide. Clare actively solicits input from Omgeo’s global community to ensure that the firm continues to stay connected with clients’ needs and remains competitively positioned across markets.

Ms. Fraser has over 15 years’ experience in the international financial markets, most recently at HSBC Securities Services (HSS) where she was Global Head of Strategy based in London. In her role at HSBC, her responsibilities included the analysis of M&A opportunities, business case development, prioritization of initiatives and five year financial projections. Prior to this London-based position, Clare spent several years in Hong Kong, where she helped to develop and refine the strategic direction for HSS in Asia. Before HSBC, she served as a consultant with the European Commission, leading the strategic assessment of new financial control instruments used in the EC’s research funding programs. Ms. Fraser has also held investment banking roles with Credit Suisse First Boston in Hong Kong and Macquarie Bank in Sydney.

Ms. Fraser holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium. She also holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
